Finding somewhere to stay during your training is very easy in Moalboal, there are options for all tastes and budgets. Here are a few to get you started.

Savedra Divemaster Lodge

This is a no bells or whistles backpacker style option for those who would like to save their cash for dive equipment and training. The rooms are twin share, fan cooled and come with their own bathroom and kitchenette. These are self service dorms, included in the price is bedding, water and electricity. The lodge is about 10 minutes by foot from the dive center. Expect a pleasant social atmosphere between you and the other divers staying here. The cost is 2500 PHP per week, per person.

Savedra Beach Bungalows

Savedra beach Bungalows is directly opposite the dive center, in the heart of Panagsama, surrounded by the bars, restaurants and other attractions, looking out directly over the ocean, each room has it’s own balcony overlooking our house reef.  The price is currently 1935 PHP per night.

Marina Village Resort

Marina is directly adjacent to Savedra Dive Center, slightly set back from the road, making this a little bit quieter and than some of the neighboring resorts, which are closer to the bars. Included in the price is a light breakfast at Marinas nearby restaurant, and use of the pool which adjoins the restaurant. Rooms are currently 2000 PHP per night.

Monthly rental options

By far the most economical approach when taking an extended training course such as the PADI IDC, or a Tec Intructor program, is a to rent your own room or apartment. This is not difficult to do, but as tastes and needs  vary so much, it is best handled when you are here. The best advice we can offer in respect of this is to check into a hotel for the first 2 – 3 nights, and let us help you find a few options from what is available. Expect to pay anywhere from 10,000 PHP to 25,000 PHP per month plus utilities, this will depend a lot on your requirements.
